Scouting Report
The 2009 first-round pick continues to make an NHL living as a defensive defenseman. He is a good skater but lacks the kind of nuance in his game that could have made him a top-pairing rearguard. His offensive contributions have dropped off as he has entered his 30s. Has to keep his mistakes to a minimum and play a smart, physical game to reinforce his value to his team.
